Bulk Image Downloader automatically downloads and saves images and videos from thumbnailed web galleries, bypassing all annoying popups and adverts. It can also extract image information from regular text files (such as saved html pages or plain text files containing links) and web pages where image links are listed as plain text.
Almost all popular image hosting sites are supported and it's built in image location technology can locate the full sized image in most web pages no matter what the layout or redirection methods used. Original image filenames are extracted where possible, but an option to generate sequential filenames is available for those image hosts that scramble the filenames.
It integrates with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome via the right click context menu for even easier downloading. Download thumbnail gallery images interactively or send them to the Queue Manager and have them all downloaded automatically one gallery at a time.
In addition, the items that fail to be grabbed within a certain batch will be automatically placed in the new "retry" batches which you can later requeue for download. Use the BID Link Explorer to quickly extract multiple gallery links from gallery "index" pages (pages listing multiple galleries) and quickly queue them for download.
Most popular image hosts are supported, including flickr, imagevenue, imagefap, imagereverb, imagebam, imageshack, and too many others to list here.
How to use it
Simply copy the URL of the web page containing the images (such as a a thumbnail gallery) and paste it into the "URL to page containing links" edit box. Click on "Scan URL for images" to bring up a list of images that B.I.D. is capable of downloading. Select a download folder and then click on "Download files" to begin downloading the images. Try enabling the "Try to download from unsupported hosts" if no images are found.
If you like you can also click on "Save Batch" to save the download links to a text file. These ".bidlist" saved files can be loaded into B.I.D. by clicking on the "Load Batch/Scan links from file" button.
To create a list from multiple sources check the "Append to existing links" checkbox. Links will now be appended to the list instead of replacing the existing list when a URL is scanned or a file is loaded.
Some image hosts scramble the image filenames. In such a case you can select the "Generate Filenames" checkbox and type in an image prefix. Images will be saved as "PREFIXnnn.jpg" where nnn is the image's sequence number on the list.
The "Thumbnails" checkbox toggles the display of image thumbnails within the list.
If "Close when download complete" is selected, B.I.D. will close automatically after the last image in the list has been downloaded.

· XSLT Transformation -- When you are editing an XSLT Stylesheet, you can easily run the transformation by hitting F9. Fill in the associated XML Document, choose your settings and click OK. You can choose to show the output in the Output Window, open the output in XMLBlueprint or save the output to a file.
· XPath Evaluation -- In the explorer you find a Tab for evaluating XPath expressions. XMLBlueprint provides an easy way to deal with the default namespace.
· Intelligent XML Formatting -- To make it easier to scan your XML File the Format button reformats your document by indenting element tags. Choose your own indenting in the Indentation Preferences dialog.
· Syntax Coloring -- Syntax coloring is automatically shown in all XML documents, and HTML, CSS and JavaScript files. You can customise the colors that are used in the Color Preferences dialog.
· Unicode & IME (Input Method Editor) -- With XMLBlueprint you can edit documents in almost any (left-to-right) language, including non-Western languages such as Russian, Japanese, and Chinese.
· FTP and WebDav -- Edit files stored on a remote FTP server or WebDAV server. You can also open files from an SVN (Subversion) server.
· XMLBlueprint starts up very fast and preloads the files you worked on last.
· Try the Outline for fast selection of nodes in long documents.
· Define your own Locations for quick acces to your files.
· Use the refactoring commands for easy and fast rework on your xml: rename elements, split or join elements, or copy only the text in your xml document.

Main Functions
FlashGot's main commands are:
1. FlashGot Link (contextual menu or Ctrl-F1 or Alt+Click on a link) - downloads through the default download manager the link under the mouse pointer.
2. FlashGot Selection (menu or Ctrl-F2 or Alt+Click with an active selection) - catches links in hilighted text/images, attempting also pure text to anchors conversion, performing some "smart" replacement like turning "hxxp://" into "http://";.
Many download forums list links to password-protected archives (usually RAR or ZIP), followed by an indication of the password to open them. If you select the links and the password by dragging the text selection with your mouse, and then you use the FlashGot Selection command, the password will be passed to the download manager inside the description of the links, so you can easily retrieve it when the download is completed with no need to annotate it manually.
3. FlashGot All (menu or Ctrl-F3) - grabs all the links found in the current page and dispatches them to the default download manager, which could offer an easy interface* to filter and select the file that will be downloaded in a batch.
* built-in filter dialog is provided by every Windows/Mac OS X download manager except GetRight and cURL. On Linux, your best open source native option is Downloader 4 X 2.5.4 or above. Alternatively you can try one one of the Windows-only download managers which are supported through Wine by FlashGot version 0.9.9 or above.
4. FlashGot Tabs (menu or Ctrl-F6) - performs a "FlashGot All" on every tab open in the current window. Notice that this command is hidden by default from the context menu: you can show it using the Menu options.
5. FlashGot Media (menu or Ctrl-F7) - it's enabled only when a streaming video or audio clip is playing in the current browser tab: this command intercepts downloadable addresses of the content pieces played so far in the page and sends them to the download manager. Tested on Youtube movies, it should work in many other situations as well. Furthermore, when a video or audio content is intercepted and ready for FlashGot media, a status bar icon flashes as a notification: you can either left click it to download all the streams at once, or right click to choose among multiple streams, if more than one have been found.
Another way to activate the aforementioned "FlashGot All" and "FlashGot Selection" commands with a single click is using the FlashGot toolbar button.
You can put this button in place simply right clicking on the toolbar of your choice and selecting the "Customize..." menu item.
The FlashGot toolbar button provides also a drop-down menu that you can use to change default download manager and trigger suitable download operation (depending on context) with a single gesture.
FlashGot also overlays the "Opening file" Firefox dialog, giving you a chance to override the default download manager just before it starts. If you want the current kind of file to be always handled by FlashGot (bypassing this dialog in the future), just click the "Do this automatically for file like this from now on" checkbox shown on the dialog bottom. You can modify this behaviour using the FlashGot Options|Downloads panel.
